Benvenuto, Ruby!
Mi sono sdraiato sul letto e sul programma di soli minuti mio marito, mamma e ostetrica si sono imbattuti nello spazio e è nata Ruby. Sam dichiarò che poteva vedere la sua testa incorporata quando tornò nello spazio e desiderava tenere a mente la nostra ultima nascita, quindi afferrò la cam e scatta alcune foto piuttosto straordinarie. Mia mamma mi ha tenuto la mano, la mia doula mi ha afferrato la gamba e non mi tengo nemmeno a mente che ho solo sentito il suo arrivo. Infine era qui. Non ho pianto alla sua nascita come credevo che avrei fatto. Ora mi strano componendo al riguardo dato che sono così felice di essere nel mantenere quel viaggio e così contento di me stesso e del mio corpo di ciò che ha realizzato, ho fatto qualcosa che non avrei mai creduto di poter fare.
In totale onestà, il parto naturale non è per tutti e se questo fosse il mio primo figlio non sono sicuro di poterlo fare di nuovo in questo modo. Tuttavia, il dolore era momentaneo e la mia guarigione è stata molto più liscia.

Ruby pesava 8 libbre 5,5 once e lunghe 21 pollici.
